The HandWeight™ is ideal for providing proprioceptive input to the hand for individuals who experience diminished sensory feedback. It can help increase kinesthetic awareness during fine motor or self help activities, and can also be used for strengthening exercises. The HandWeight™ is also very helpful for individuals who experience tremoring during fine motor tasks.

The HandWeight™ is a weighted pouch that rests on the back of the hand. This uniquely designed weight is held in place by four finger loops, one thumb loop, and a Velcro closure strap that is secured around the wrist. Unlike many of the other “weights” on the market, this palm open design allows maximum finger flexibility and wrist mobility. The weight is reversible and can be worn on the back of either hand.
